Numerology: Why am I always falling for Day Number 9 men?

In Numerology, I am a Day Number 5... I am born on August 23rd... So 2 + 3 = 5 for my day number.
I am ALWAYS falling for men with the Day Number 9: 9th, 18th, and 27th of each month. Why is this? And why do they NEVER like me back?

I know 5 is ruled by Mercury in Numerology, and 9 is ruled by Mars. Is it normal for Mars to think Mercury is boring?

EXAMPLE: 01/01/1995 = 0+1+0+1+1+9+9+5 = 26 = 2+6 = 8
