I have never read a book on astrology, but I'd like to. However, I've only looked through books at the book store and they have only so many there. Most of the books are about sun signs, but I found a couple good ones.

I think I looked through "The Only Astrology Book You Will Ever Need" at Barnes and Nobles. It had a lot of basic astrology. It went in detail about all the signs, planets ( and what they are in signs ) and houses. It had other stuff in it too like how to read a natal chart. It also went into detail about the planets and what they symbolize. It was a big book.

But you might need more books, so I think the title was misleading. It forgot the asteroids, progressed charts and solar returns, which are important in astrology.

I think you can learn, but realistically you're only going to be skimming the surface if you don't get into books. There are heaps of online resources - but for me personally, books are where it's at. There are so many that have been neglected due to not being as easy to read as Linda Goodman, etc.

And the less people know about them, the less likely they are to ever be mentioned online either.

The last book I read was "The Dark Moon Lilith in Astrology" by Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson.

Depends on the depth a person wishes to learn. There are online courses, tutorials and white papers. Most books are online now. I've always found learning from another person is much more rewarding than from books. So, I would say, yes it is possible, with todays technology. Kids today know how to use and manipulate technogy to get more out of it. Unfortunately, some are too lazy to get the depth available.

I just finished The Dreamers Journal, and Card Divination, and before that, I finished The Underground Education. I read a lot of history books.
