Behenian Fixed Stars

Fifteen stars considered especially useful for magical applications (in the mediæval astrology of Europe and the Arab world) are known as the Behenian Fixed Stars (each marked with † Behenian Star). The name derives from Arabic bahman, "root," as each was considered a source of astrological power for one or more planets.

When a planet was within six degrees of an associated star, this influence was thought to be particularly strong.

here is the list; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behenian_fixed_star

got any conjunction?

me;

algol conjunct jupiter; apparently algol classified "very unfortunate" and involved with murder, violence and stuff, lol. passionate, intense, demonic etc.

both my sun and venus conjunct sirius; this fixed star considered "fortunate" and keywords are Ambition, pride, emotionality, fame, leadership, wealth, fires, drought, danger through impetuosity.

mars regulus conjunction; "very fortunate" The most Royal Star. Raphael, the Healing Archangel, the Watcher of the North. Nobility, ambition, alertness, great power, status, leadership, sudden downfall, accidents, violence. Said by some to be the most benefic star in the universe.

moon conjunct gienah; "unfortunate" Craftiness, greed, ingenuity, patience, revengefulness, passion, selfishness, lying, aggression, and material instincts; sometimes causes natives to become agitators.

and finally neptune antares conjunction; "fortunate" A Royal Star. The Archangel Oriel, the Watcher of the West. Spirit of adventure, obstinacy, injuries to eyes, honours, sudden loss, stubborn, suspicious, violent, several marriages

Pluto is exactly conjunct Alphecca.

Pluto conjunct Antares by 3 degrees.

Mars conjunct Toliman by less than half a degree.

Sun is 1 degree from Vega.

Saturn in my chart is exactly, like almost exactly, conjunct Galactic Centre, a black hole of our galaxy. Even closer to my Midheaven.

Mercury exactly conjunct Dheneb.

Ascendant conjunct Markab.

Jupiter conjunct Acamar.

Moon conjunct Talitha.

Vertex conjunct Markeb.

Uranus conjunct Etamin, more closely than Saturn is Galactic.

I was looking at the fixed stars in general, not just the Behenian.

This is very interesting. These conjunctions are all very close, almost all of them within the same degree as natal chart. However, due to being fixed stars, they are at the mercy of the equinoxes. I must find out much more information in regards to this, before I feel any genuine excitement, personally.

I'll look further into this, thank you for sharing!

Matt... go away, you have not studied the subject therefore your opinion is mute. As for the difference between the two charts. They are very different types of astrology. I struggle with the statement that they are cruel, as they are not. Bernadette Brady currently could be considered one of the queens on fixed stars. However, we still need the natal chart. Learn the natal charts well, before jumping into this path. There is software now available for fixed stars. As for the ancients using fixed stars, they did but to a very small degree. Most classical astrology are based on the inferior planets.
