What zodiac signs would last for like 1-2 years? And what zodiac sign tend to just last from 3-7 days?

Cancer(My sister is a Cancer and she's very relationship oriented)



Taurus(I have a few Taurus friends and they love commitment,and one is always searching for a man)



Virgo(My best friend, she loves being in relationship. She's very loyal and always trying to please her bf)



Aries(We won't get into a relationship unless we're serious, we jump right into the relationship head first, and give our everything. We HATE wasting our time)



Aquarius(Everyone I know that is an Aquarius is all about their partner)







Leo(They're usually very loyal, and they're all about their partner(like Aquarius) )







BTW, Why is everyone saying Scorpio is relationship oriented. All the Scorpio men are notorious cheaters ( i.e Bill Clinton)



@. Cancer is also Cardinal, stop saying Aries jumps from Relationship to Relationship. That is so not true at all. Most of the Aries I know are in commited Relationships.

Even thought there are a lot of great answers here I decided to put my two cents in. The true key to a lasting relationship is a combination of a several things. I will attempt to simplify this because truthfully several books have been written on this subject but most of the books are wrong. 1st key to a lasting relationship is Cinderella aspects in synastry charts. One Cinderella aspect is not enough, you really need several for it to be lasting or even for 2 people to hook up. Cinderella aspects are Chiron in conjuction, trine, parallel or contra-parallel to these 4 planets, Jupiter, Venus, Neptune, and Pluto. The more Cinderella Aspects they have the deeper the love and devotion they will have for each other. 2nd key is Juno. Juno rules the NEED to have sex with the other person. Even with a lot of Cinderella Aspects it is still suggested that the couple have at least 2 Juno aspects at good angles. The same angles I listed above. 3rd key is No Heartbreak aspects or Nuclear aspects. A Heartbreak aspect is a hard aspect (90 or 180 or 150 or contra-parallel) with Saturn. A Nuclear aspect is Jupiter and Saturn at a hard aspect. 4th key is to have a great relationship starting date and a great marriage date. There are times that a perfect couple pick up Heartbreak Clashes because of natalizing the marriage chart by not choosing the right date to get married. When they say "Marriage changes everything" they are not kidding around. This is very real, and it's one of the main reasons you should never get married without consulting a competent astrologer. This is it in a nutshell. There are many other things to consider as well, but without these 4 criteria the relationship is pretty much doomed. No matter what sign you look at you will always find examples of people that have lasting relationships of every sign. And you will always find breakups and divorces of people in every sign. There are some people that are not suited for marriage. Just because if they make a great aspect in one place they make a bad aspect in another. For example the have Jupiter and Saturn in the same degree at 150 degrees. When a good aspect is made with Jupiter a bad aspect will be made with Saturn. So say that they have a 120 degree aspect with Chiron, They will have a 90 degree aspect with Saturn. Thus having both a Cinderella and a Heartbreak. Couples like this are everywhere. This is why so many people break up. 30 and 60 degree angles can also be considered Cinderella aspects but to a diminished power.

Leos like to be in long term relationships, I know that for sure.

Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius as well.

These signs don't see the point in being in short term relationships. They take relationships very seriously.

Although I don't consider 1-2 years as long term relationships. Long term relationships are when they last over (at least) 5 years. But the average marriage lasts 3 years nowadays, so I get why 1-2 years in a relationship would be considered as a long time.



The signs that would more likely get in short term relationships would be Sagittarius, Gemini and Pisces.

The other signs would be in the middle.



However, aspects are way more important in this case, especially Venus aspects.

Generally speaking, in terms of Sun Signs alone, Earth and Water Signs are the ones who would most likely go for long terms relationships. The Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) are emotional, sensitive, attached and find it hard to let go. The Earth Signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) are resistant to change, loyal and are very comittted. However, Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and Air Signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini) are changeable, fickle, impulsive and are the more detached signs of the zodiac. Except maybe Leos, they love hard. Haha.



Keep in my mind that Astrology is more than the Sun Signs or what we call our "Zodiac Signs".

There is a lot more to it. Which explains why not all of us are exactly like our Sun or Zodiac Sign.

Hahahahah, Taurus wants to own you so ofc they will keep you for a long time. They're BIG time cheaters though. My boys a Taurus, cheat on his last 3 gf. Scorpio wants to dominate and cling and are very sexual so them to. Pisces and Aqua are hard to "get with", but they will stay with you. Aqua because it is logically sound, and Pisces because they are dependent and romantic.



Frivolous ones are Gemini, Sagittarius, and it varies on chart but usually Libra can be a HUGE flirt. Leo will stay and so will Aries if they find good mates.



Cap and Cancer men like the idea of having a long relationship, but sometimes can be arrogant and think they can have it all! More prone to cheat than fire men imho. Women of earth are usually more sensible.



Who else? Virgo woman are again sensible. Usually earth signs, it's the woman who are loyal. Fire men can sometimes be "over enthusiastic" but we're just happy people ya know.

The Earth signs: Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo because stability is an Earth influence. These signs want to have stable, long-lasting relationships and they take them very seriously. They're looking for a wife / husband or a long-term partner, not merely a boyfriend or girlfriend.



Besides that, Leos usually want long-term relationships. They have a big heart and they really want to find their special person. They're more sensitive and emotional than they seem to be. Cancers as well because they're driven by emotions. Being a maternal sign, they usually want not just a partner but a family too. Libras also want long-term relationships as they're the sign of partnership. They love being with people but whether it's with one individual for a long period or by a group of friends depends on the person.



Scorpios take relationships seriously as they're very emotionally intense and being a fixed sign, they want long-lasting partnerships. Pisces want long relationships but they're capable of being by themselves. As for Aquarius, it can go either way. They're very unemotional and they can be single for a long time but once they find someone, they want it to last.



Aries, Gemini and Sagittarius tend to go for short-term relationships. Sagittarius love their freedom and they don't like responsibilities. They're fine with being alone too. Aries, being a Cardinal sign jumps from one relationship to another, having no problem with starting new ones. Gemini aren't emotionally attached and they prefer getting to know more people.
