Houses in Planets?

Question

Ok my question is , i know you have houses in the signs such as 8th house in pisces or 1st house in aries, but how do find out which planets your houses are in? For example i see people asking questions about their 9th house in Venus and stuff like that. Would that be in a regular natal chart or one specifically used to finding out the houses in planets?

To set the record straight, houses aren't found in planets. The 12 Houses represent the 12 main areas of our life which pertain to significant issues.



When a planet is found in a Sign, it takes on the traits of that particular zodiac sign. When a planet is found in a House, its energy becomes manifested in that particular area in life.



When we talk about House/Placidus Position, we are talking about the Signs in Houses. Always starting with your Ascendant/Rising Sign which rules your First House, the remaining zodiac signs are found in the other Houses, following the sequence. E.g. if you have Taurus in 1st House, then gemini is in 2nd, cancer in 3rd and so on..



Just go to any online astrology. site that can generate your natal chart for free. astro.com is a good site which you can find both kinds of planetary and houses positions.

I think you mean how do you find out which houses your planets are in, as the houses can't be IN the planets. If you are referring to finding out where the planets in your natal chart are located, all you need to do is create a chart-www.astrodienst.com is a good place to start. You can choose free horoscopes, and check out the "extended chart" selection. You can view your natal chart, and your transits and all sorts of things.



It can all be very confusing at first. After you find out your Ascendant-and the sign on each house cusp, sometimes it only takes a glance at where the planets are at this very moment-to know what houses they are falling in, in your own birth chart. You also have to take into account the degrees of your house cusps because, let's say the Moon is in Gemini right now at 12 degrees, and the sign Gemini begins your second house cusp at 25 degrees-then the Moon would actually fall in your 1st House. (remember the houses are divided into 12 equal parts of 30 degrees each). From there, you can begin to do interpretations...

To do a chart, you need an ephemeris. To calculate the Rising sign you need to know the time of birth. A natal chart can be Koch or Placidus. It depends on which on which one you want to use. Some charts can be calculated on line for free. One web site is astroORACLE.com.

For that you have to see the current position of the planets in the ephemeris. For example if someone took birth in July, 1968 then his Jupiter will be in leo and if has taken birth right in this month then his Jupiter will be in Saggitarius.
