Question:
is Stephen Arroyo's Chart Interpretation Handbook really thorough in informing how to intepret a birth chart?

as it is only 175 pages roughly..and it seems very "generic"...not much in detail,,just simple interpretations for mercury in taurus, etc.

why so many poeple say Arroyo is so great? as this book was nothing compared to some other astrological books in content and quality..(in my opinion)..

how come it is so difficult to find a good book that explains and gives good interpretations for BIRTH CHARTS? even the older astrologers such as A-Z dilieneator by Llleywen George is not much in detail and kind of vague.

how about Ciro Discepolo? and his 2 volume book nearly 1000 pages? how it is on learning how to REALLY interpret a birth chart?

40 years ago I was attending classes on astrology. We had to learn the math then.

I had many books but little time to read them. I taped the lectures by Carole Devine

and listened when I could. I discovered that it is a serious discipline. There are few

absolutes and most delineations are guesses based on experience. Some fellow

students took to it like a duck to water. They claimed it is in their charts.

Psychiatrist Carl Jung created a horoscope for most clients because he said it works.

He could learn as much about a man in an hour or two as he could in months or

years of analysis.

What I am trying to say is that it requires constant study if you want to be able

to understand people through their charts. It can be fun - like doing puzzles.

I find that book ok but the best book i read for interpreting a birth chart was written in the 1970's by Francis Sakoian and Louis Acker. it is called the Astrologers Handbook. It goes through everything including thes signs, the planets, the houses and the aspects, the rulerships and the exaltations. It is down to earth and well written.

Here's the link.

A lot. Aries Taurus Gemini Virgo Libra Sagittarius I'm cool with my chart but maybe I'd like Gemini and Libra because I barely have any air in my chart. I have way too much water and fire (not that I'm complaining lol) plus most of my planets are in the fire and water houses
