For me, Arguing hurts more and it frustrates me.
Ignoring works for me. I buy that!

Being ignored is the worst feeling in the world. You're constantly feeling like you've done something wrong and like you're not good enough. I can understand when you ignore someone because they are being annoying but when you are being ignored and you don't know why it literally makes your heart sink to the ground.

I agree with Andrew. I think it is worse to ignore someone. Don't get me wrong I don't like to argue either. However, at least by auguring you don't bottle everything inside and hold resentment against the other person. I think communication is the key in a relationship. If that means arguing than so be it. I try my hardest to speak w/ love and respect. However, if something is bothering me I like to let that person know when it happens not months down the road or not at all.

Ignoring hurts more for me...

I feel like arguing is a sign that two people care about each other, even if the energy in the argument is negative. Being ignored can mean that a person is indifferent... can take or leave you. I think that hurts so much more.

Arguing hurts in that it raises a negative adrenaline response and causes raised blood pressure, aggitation, various unpleasantry. It does and can however serve as a (rocky) road for solving problems ultimately.

Ignoring hurts in that it passively shows disrespect and belittling, almost as if the person doesnt deserve or isnt worthy of attention. This can lead to bottling up and explosive development of negative energy that isnt produced by such arguing.

Both Arguing and Ignoring hurt, but in different ways.

They both hurt

Well both hurt! So if you can simply explain what is bothering you without getting upset and without attacking the other person then you can resolve more. Ignoring makes the other person feel as if you don't care. So Sagitarius to Sagitarius I would like to say some people just like to argue while we on the other hand just want to be heard and understood. Writting down how u feel or your problem may help to then you can avoid conflict.

Ignoring is way worse.

I tend to do that to keep peace, but it's the wrong thing to do.

While arguing at least you are still communicating and making up is fun.. but when you ignore.. nothing is getting solved... it only gets worse.

This seems to be getting out of hand for me, I need to learn how to actually argue and get done with it... much better idea.

My man and I are not talking now,we should be arguing, but no.. I'm still in my old habit.

Nothing gets solved, when one of us starts talking again.. this is only showing him that he can still get away with doing the same thing that caused it to begin with..

be careful, cause with my ex.. I did this often.. it started that I'd ignore him for a day, then it was a week, then a month, then years went by..

We divorced. and to this day he will not talk to me.

Although arguing is worse in the short term, ignoring is far worse in the long run because it leads to a major lack of communication and often means that one or both of the people involved don't care about the friendship/relationship.

Ignoring, at least in my humble opinion. When people argue with each other, they're getting what they want - a reaction to what the say. However, if you're the lone one in expressing your view point, while the other party is staying quiet, it can be frustrating to say the least - your ideas are neither challeneged or proven, and it takes the situation completely out of your control.

Much like in physics, emotionally every action needs a reaction.

Actually I think Ignoring is more childlike by not showing your objections. When I was a child I was afraid to object to many things. I was afraid to say no to somethings! Not showing your objections is more hurting than Arguing and venting your objections. Arguing is only childlike when it is taken too far! Politicians are real quilty for that!

Horoscopes? Huh, not that I buy into it much... but arguing generally ends in some tears and hugs and some bonding. Its kind of productive in my experience, although there have been times where I have realized that I could never talk to the person again and be quite content. The eternal impasse... If your love hurts people, then love in seclusion.

They both hurt.

Ignoring hurts when no one pays attention to you.

Arguing hurts but you always can resolve the problem because there still is communication.

Through arguments, you know what both of you want and know where you're getting

Ignoring comes after argument, when everything don't seems to fit in for one another..

For me, ignoring hurts more

If my love one ignored me, I will have the thinking that he don't care or bother about me no more

Both are damaging....I believe Ignoring someone is worse OR being ignored... It plays on the mind ...Not even able to argue to get your point across will be more frustrating

Ignoring is worst and in the long run can hurt more.....

When two people dont communicate it leads to build up off very bad emotions and the what happens is a big ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Equivalent to a argument...Honesty is the best policy and arguing can lead to understanding and then mending...if its done right!!!!

He probably has feelings for you. See my best friend and I have been great friends for yearsss but there was one year when I grow feelings for her and backed away. Thats going to happen if your a girl and your best friend is a boy or vesa versa. Try talking to him and see whats up you know don't let a such a good friendship go to wasteee

It's the ignoring I hate. My Leo ascendant hates it too. At least when there's arguing involved, there's the possibility of resolving the issue because there's still communication.

An explosive argument followed by a looooooooonnnggg silent treatment........

or a lonnng silent treatment which leads to an EXPLOSIVE argument.

OK..messing around here.........both are bad.

Ignoring is indifference but arguing unless it gets too bad.Clears the air. It is also a very passive-aggressive trait a bit like sulking. Bit kiddish in my opinion.

i cant stand being ignored because then it shows the person realy does not care about me or what i have to say. If they argue it means they care about you enough to try and get their point across even tho they are being mean, they still want to interact with you =]

Think again when someone argues you convincingly into/out of doing something he helps you see the truth for he cares But when he ignores you,he doesn't consider you worth taking notice of!Dont blame your stars for your ignorance.

Ignoring hurts more, as arguin just gets it all out in the open, ignoring is all bottled up type thing, where sometimes, you don't even know what you did wrong!.

Ignoring, definetely.

Atleast if your arguing, your talking and therefore getting somewhere, even if it isn't far.

If you ignore someone you completely deny all attempts of communication and sabotage any hopes of working things out.

I can't stand being ignored! I love to argue, and actually enjoy the feeling very much...It can be stress relieving to yell and get the anger out, but when people ignore me, I feel like I want to kill them...I also don't like to ignore people myself, because I feel it solves nothing.
