Arguing from ignorance: a skeptics' specialty and they hilariously think that's valid.

Cusp from the Latin word "cuspis" meaning the point of a sword or spear. In English it's first use was astrological to denote the dividing lines of houses NOT SIGNS!!!!! So in an astrological chart each house has a dividing line and that dividing line is called a cusp. Somewhere, somehow someone with only slightly more knowledge than the average skeptic the used word "cusp" to denote a dividing line between signs. However signs have no dividing lines. A planet is in one sign or another - not both. No serious astrology textbook uses this concept.

People with little or no knowledge of astrology who nevertheless wish to feel special claim they are "a cusp," i.e. born when the Sun is close to changing signs. How close? It all depends on how badly they need to feel special. Some people on YA have argues anything more than 27 degrees which is about 3 days before the Sun changes signs.

Your point about the Moon (and every other planet) is valid and demonstrates why this cusp business is nonsense. Why just the Sun? Why not the Moon or Mars or Venus etc? No planet or light can be in two signs at once. It is one or the other and therefore this business about cusps is just ignorance of astrology perpetrated by those with ego problems. That's it.

My chart says I am 1.13 degrees Aquarius/Pisces cusp. However, if you look at most horoscopes then the beginning of Pisces is Feb. 20 and Feb. 19 is in Aquarius. I have even seen some where Aquarius starts the 18th of February. Think about our leap years when February sometimes has 29 days instead of 28. The actual days of Pisces varies per year because on the year I was born- the change didn't happen until the 20th. Convert the time I was born to mean-times and I am about 10 hours into Pisces; however my degree of the Zodiacal wheel is 1.13 Aquarius/Pisces cusp.

I have NEVER liked Pisces very much. I have more Aquarian beliefs on things, but these dang emotions keep getting in the way! I will guarantee that I am both signs due to my cusp and not other planetaries.

NOw- to answer you second questing, are there cusps with the moon? Yes there can be, but they are not as prevalent in the moon. The decans are more what influences the different types of Cancers you meet.

Astrology is cool and it's awesome, but remember i///t's just probabilities. In the beginning the predicting of ones life was called horary astrology. There were many other types forecasting using the planets as a base. But in horary astrology- horoscopes were only meant to be probabilities, You are the master and maker of your own divine life and grand destiny.

You have to understand how astrology works perhaps; there's a big difference between an astrological sign and a constellation. In reality the constellations vary massively in size; Virgo is the largest and Scorpio is the smallest. The zodiac is divided equally between 12 signs and so each sign covers 30 degrees of the zodiac, plus or minus 0, full stop. If a planet is at 29 degrees and some minutes in a sign, it's in that sign and that sign only, never a bit of both.

Where some people may get confused is by feeling that they have other sign characteristics; this can be so and always will be so because our charts are made up of planets other than the Sun, which have big influences on us.

Scientifically a person is influenced by only one set of vibrational frequencies at a time, thus only one sign at a time, whether it be Sun, Moon or anything else.

I know I have you blocked, but it was because I didn't understand what was going on with the "anon" thing here lol so I blocked all anon's. Anyways... I said the same thing in my question. But thanks for making another :) You didn't ask nicely lol.

You just said it yourself. Some say yes, some no. If you are looking for inconsistency and contradictions, astrology does that in aces.
