This is sort of a part 2 to another questions I asked. My sun is in Sag, Moon in Aries, Pisces Rising. Someone commented and wrote that Venus Conjunct Saturn would be important if I had this aspect. I do have it. Can anyone elaborate on what this means? What does it mean to have Venus Conjunct Saturn, both planets are in Scorpio, both in the 8th house?
Please don't answer if you feel the need to be rude. Thank you.

I'm not sure why they told you a Sag Sun, Aries Moon, and Pisces Rising would make Venus Conj. Saturn any more important than it is besides there being a possible Trine to the Rising.

Anyway, yes Venus and Saturn aspects are very important and have a profound impact on love life and overall will power. Saturn is work, seriousness, and reSTRICTion and if it's Conj. your Venus, it means that you are probably very serious in love and you take romantic relationships very seriously, often more than the other person. You realize the work behind these romances and you feel somehow restricted to express deep affections. It's keeping your reactions to love stable, which can be a good thing actually.

the 8th H is Scorpio and rules death, rebirth and sex. I think if this Venus/Sat Conj. is in the 8th H it gives it a bit more emphasis on the dark side of it, causing you a bit of love / work drama. Maybe you fell for someone at work, but under coworker restrictions you have to 'deaden' your feelings.

You probably won't find any information about synastry Moon conjunct Mars-Pluto midpoints. That's because the only time midpoints seem to work is when you are looking at transits to YOUR natal midpoints. They don't seem to work in synastry. It is not "accepted astrological practice" .. but you find all sorts of weird, not-accepted stuff about astrology on the internet. Books, not so much .. publishers weed out the garbage stuff because they know the astrological community won't buy them otherwise. And yes, there is an astrological community and we network and share information and research among ourselves. Another tip .. don't use the asteroids .. throw out Chiron and Juno in your synastry. In synastry, if you are looking for a lasting relationship, you need to have one person's Ascendant opposite or conjunct the other person's Sun or Moon or Venus or Mars .. within 8 degrees. Doesn't need to go both ways .. just one instance suffices. Otherwise, it's not likely to last more than a year or two. You didn't mention any Ascendant aspects at all. You need the birth time to find a person's Ascendant .. perhaps you are lacking that? Of secondary importance are the conjunctions. These are very strong, compared to other types of aspects. Squares and oppositions are also strong, sextiles and trines are beneficial but weak influences. The only conjunction you list (midpoints don't count) is that of Venus conjunct Pluto. This creates a strong sexual attraction, but that is not what makes relationships last. And the Venus-Pluto aspect turns sour one the honeymoon period (the infatuation) has died out (which is inevitable in all relationships). Venus square Mars creates sexual chemistry true, but NOT emotional compatibility. Psychologists will tell you that the stronger the chemistry is at the start, the more problems there will be later on. I hate to deliver bad news, so I'll blame it on Lois Haines Sargent "How to Handle Your Human Relations" Venus conj Pluto. The Pluto individual is apt to be demanding, jealous, absorbing and possessive towards Venus. In romance, Pluto has a degrading effect upon Venus, either due to vulgarity or sexual demands. Venus square Mars. Sexual chemistry, but with disturbing emotional reactions. Venus finds Mars to impatient. Sometimes one will resists the other. A little too much emotion leads to friction and disputes. Jealousy is a problem. There will be considerable tension and conflict in love and marriage. One or both may be unfaithful to each other.

Venus in Scorpio and in the 8th house, which it rules, can be, how to say it politely?, a "little bit wayward" in the sexual area. Having Saturn close by would do you no harm, in fact may be a bit of a blessing, to keep you under control perhaps? Depends on the rest of your chart; you don't say what your other question was, that may have shown more light.

Venus conj. Saturn is significant in terms of love and relationships. Venus, the planet of love and relationships, is restricted by Saturn, the planet of limitation and fear. What does this mean?

An individual whom has this placement will probably be cautious and/or fearful of forming close relationships with people. It could be because of fear of infidelity which would lead to hurt feelings or also fear commitment. They have the feelings of inadequacy of forming stable and long term relationships with another. This aspect can make delays in marriage.
