Would an empty 7th house indicate someone who doesn't care for relationships?

AN empty house simply indicates that you have it under control and there isn't a need to expend energy in that area. Empty houses doesn’t mean emptiness in that area. It just means that the house requires less direct attention than the areas of activity indicated by occupied houses. Any activity that relates to the empty house is integrated into the activity of the house in which the ruler is located. Every chart has a few houses unoccupied. We don’t always partake in everything life has to offer. Sometimes a passive interest exists in such an area, but we have certain difficulties with it as soon as we are confronted with matters from the outside demanding our attention.

When a house is vacant, you may have completed the “karma” of learning from that house in past lifetimes or will deal with it in a future incarnation. Whatever the case, the areas of life indicated by the unoccupied houses do not energize you.

I have an empty 7th house, minus a Lilith and a Vertex there. However, I have no planets falling into the 7H.



When you have an empty 7th house, it is then where you look where the ruler of the 7H is for further explanation. ( You do this as well with planets there too ). If Virgo is on your 7H cusp, then look where Mercury is at and the aspects Mercury makes.



Also, don't forget progressions, transits and solar return charts. You may have a planet transiting your 7H indicating a focus on a relationship. In progressions and solar return charts, planets may be in the 7H.



The 5H is about dating and romance; 7H is about relationships. Both can go hand in hand. You can look at both houses for this kind of stuff.

All I obsess over is a good relationship with a connection.

1) Look at the sign on the descendent. That gives you one clue.

2) What sign is Venus in? What house? What aspects doers it make to other planets?



Relationships are pretty important to life in general. Very few people "don't care for relationships." Most of them are just scared or uncomfortable...



Remember, the 7th house is about ALL one-to-one relationships, including partners, cose personal friends, and also love relationships.
