I can't seem to find any ounce of credible readings written by significant numbers to back up any claims made by astrology. What I do know for fact is astrology seems to base their interpretations on faulty correlations. That a cause is related to correlated events. That already in itself is null.
The opposite of skepticism is gullibility and that is something I am not - gullible. I do not accept information blindly without questioning, and searching for the answers that the information may not be accurate. But for some reason the more questions you ask the more hostile people get. Yikes.
Astrology COULD be accurate. It could be everything staunch believers entail it to be so - that it works. That's possible! But it has not been proven yet.
What exactly do "skeptics" need to educate themselves on? We are looking for answers, searching for answers, asking key questions that need to be answered. I don't know about you, but that does not sound like someone that does not want to be educated. If by "get educated" you mean, "don't question, believe my irrational views on astrology, accept my reality" than alas, that's something skeptics will not do.
