Why Do I Get so Annoyed By Cancer Females?

Now, this can just be a coincidence so don't get offended. I want to understand why.

Ok, so I'm a Pisces gal and I'm supposed to be compatible with Cancers in friendships. But, whenever I become friendly with Cancer girls I feel like they're putting up a strong wall to hide their real feelings. When I ask them for advice they're very practical, direct, and blunt and become certain that they're answers will be proven correct at my outcomes. But whenever they're proven wrong I feel that's when they finally reveal a sense of weakness. They appear strong because they hate to be proven wrong.

Another example of situations I've been in with Cancer girls is when they act like they're unfazed by what you do to them but hold grudges for a long time. For instance, my Cancer friend tells me about her problems all the time and I'm always "all ears". But whenever I'm too busy with school to answer the phone and call her back she's always bringing up the fact and saying "It's ok. I'm fine." but still calls me non-stop after. I can ALWAYS sense that she's lying and is dwelling on it. I don't get it.

They're kind people but I don't get why they want to keep a strong exterior, hold grudges, and dwell on miniscule things. It annoys me.

Can someone explain this to me?

There are 2 kinds of Cancers: outgoing or shy. Either way, they have a shell. It takes a LONG time or something special for you to get inside. A lot of times, we just want to help; one of our strengths or you can call it a weakness is that we care a lot, too much sometimes. We usually always have something to say even when we're wrong. Cancers are just really sensitive and self conscious. We hate rejection and hate not having things our way. We put up a front cos were hard on the outside but soft on the inside and we just don't like to show it. Its the stubborn shell that gets in the way.



You mustve come across some really stubborn crabs.. maybe they were just intimidated?

Because I'm mostly the listener to my friends and I barely call them. Yes I'm blunt...



I hate to be proven wrong i'll admit that because I love debating (Gemini Rising) I'm not sure about other cancer girls but sometimes they annoy me too except for a few.



You either get along with some or you don't.



It's we're not acting like we're unfazed, we just aren't unfazed. :/ sometimes you can't just assume people are going to be "fazed" by you all the time.



Hold grudges? Yes I can do that

Dwell on small things? NO.. I don't tolerate that but I know one Cancer friend who does and its annoying.



Strong exterior? Really? I don't think many do that from what I've seen , only one, but shes a tomboy. sooo I dunno.



I'm naturally grumpy and blunt. Maybe its your body language that sets them off. It must be something you're doing I dont know. Try to be aware of what you're doing.



Just because you guys are the same element doesnt mean you're gonna get along with every cancer, pisces, and scorpio you'll ever meet. It takes a while for Cancers to open anyway...give em time.



To be honest I sometimes can't stand some pisces ,scorpios and cancers.

I'm a pisces and I grew up with a cancer bestfriend.She always had the upper hand in the friendship and would often drop me for more fun and interesting friends then expect me to be there for her whenever she wanted me.I got to the stage where I just cut her off and the only time I saw her was whn I was seeing a guy I didn't like and thought it would be a good idea to introduce the two coz she had a habit of attracting my boyfriends.



Yeah that didn't really answer the question but I do agree with whover said just because you are the same element doesn't mean its instant chemistry.

I had the same feeling once about this same exact question until I realized that my moon was opposite their sun, makes ALOT of sense now on why I am easily annoyed by some.

Maybe it has to do with something else in your chart that could make it more clear on why. And the one trait that annoys me more than anything else is their ability to take everything said so personally. ANd yes, they do hold grudges like you wouldnt believe. I have 2 aunts and numerous cancer cousins and they're all like this.

That's funny because pisces females annoy me...it's just that they seem very gullible,and passive to me...yeah cancers maybe shy and quiet,but all the cancer females i know including myself aren't passive the way ppl make it seem...i don't hold onto grudges i forgive when i can and let it go i do build up a wall and hide my feelings only because we don't trust ppl or we don't want to get hurt...so idk they're two different types of cancers..

I would look at the synastry between you and the girls. There is much more to astrology than sun signs. There might be some mis-communication. Perhaps you should be honest with one another.

That's just the way Cancers are. They are like chameleons, they want to blend in with the crowd... they don't want to stick out. Their mood is dependent on circumstances. As a matter of fact, their entire personality is dependent on circumstances. I don't care for Cancers much either, but those are just the ones I've met. Every huge falling out I've ever had has been with a Cancer.
